Different Types of Liposuction Available

SAL: The most common form of liposuction used today. Small, hollow cannulas are connected to a vacuum to help remove the unwanted fat.

UAL: Ultrasound energy is used to help melt and disrupt the fat cells prior to its removal. Traditional suction assisted liposuction is then used for the fat extraction.

PAL: Power driven motor that moves the cannula tip back and forth in a very rapid, vibrating fashion. This helps with surgeon fatigue.
